Katie Nega, A.R.N.P., is a board-certified gerontological nurse practitioner at both the Digestive Health Center at UW Medical Center - Montlake and the Digestive Health Center at Eastside Specialty Center.
Nega takes care of patients who are experiencing general gastroenterological issues such as GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) and IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). As a nurse practitioner, she enjoys the opportunity to empower and teach patients and their families through education.
Nega earned her M.S.N. from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her B.S.N. in 2011 from the University of Washington. She has experience working in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities as well as outpatient Oncology care as a nurse practitioner.
When she isn't working, Katie Nega enjoys yoga, music, fine dining and spending time with her 2 children, dog and husband.
