Kari Ranum, A.R.N.P., M.S.N., is a board-certified acute care nurse practitioner at the General Surgery Clinic at UW Medical Center and Cardiac Rehabilitation at Northwest Hospital and a UW teaching associate of Cardiac Surgery.
Ranum is committed to the highest level of education and clinical care for patients and families. She sees her role as their partner and steward across in their care to help optimize their health and wellness, expedite their recovery and prevent their hospitalization and readmission.
Ranum received her medical education at the UW. At the UW Medicine Regional Heart Center, Ranum's role is paramount to the multidisciplinary heart team for transcatheter valve therapies, including transcatheter aortic valve replacement, transcatheter mitral valve repair and transcatheter valve-in-valve replacement.
In her spare time, Ranum enjoys cooking, baking, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
