Karen Amin, M.S.N., is a nurse practitioner in the Emergency Department at Harborview Medical Center.

Amin especially likes to work with patients who have limited access to care. She appreciates being able to help them navigate the complex health care system and to also help them understand their illness.

Amin earned her M.S.N. at Emory University in Atlanta. She is licensed as a family nurse practitioner and specialized in emergency medicine during her training. She also holds a previous degree in chemistry from the University of South Carolina.

Amin’s clinical interests include emergency medicine, minor surgical procedures and minor trauma.

Personal Interests

In her free time Amin enjoys hiking, skiing, traveling, cooking and reading.
