Dr Mitchell was brilliant! She was both expert in her specialty and was also extremely caring. She listened intently to my very long health history and my concerns, and offered advice and direction. But she also gently guided me back to the appointment purpose which was to determine risk factors for surgery. She showed real concern over some vague, but concerning symptoms, and went above and beyond to order appropriate tests to rule out any concerning conditions. She explained things clearly. She even called later in the evening, to discuss results and follow up, after spending nearly 2 hrs in clinic with me. She saw my health concerns as a connected whole, rather than separate and disconnected body systems. I was treated holistically as part of my care team. If Dr Mitchell were seeing pts in an individual practice, I would gladly transfer from my PCP.

My experience with Dr. Mitchell was very pleasant. She took great care in listening to me and responding to my questions.

Dr. Mitchell was amazing. I even asked her if she saw patients regularly so I could see her as my internal med specialist. She walked in totally friendly instead of distracted like often happens and gave the most friendly self-introduction I ever remember then we went over my history back decades as she patiently pulled data together from multiple sources including a hand full of outside labs and logs I brought. The whole time she explained everything. I learned a lot and it is nice to have doctors who have a great sense of humor. Her clinical knowledge was amazing, and she related a lot of things to my upcoming surgery, explaining why they could matter. I could not have been more impressed. It was a very enjoyable experience.
