Kara McKay, DNP, ARNP, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who sees patients of all ages at the UW Neighborhood Belltown Clinic.
Dr. McKay believes that the foundation of good primary care is listening, empathy, and compassion. She strives to partner with her patients to provide high-quality, evidence-based care that fits with their unique lifestyles and needs. She hopes that every patient leaves their visit feeling well-informed, empowered, and heard.
Dr. McKay’s clinical interests include family medicine, community health, preventative medicine, and women’s health.
In her free time, Dr. McKay enjoys spending time outside in the beautiful Pacific Northwest: hiking, backpacking, trail running, and skiing. She is an avid bike commuter and huge fan of Seattle’s libraries and public parks.
