About Joshua A. Hill
Joshua Hill, MD, is a board-certified physician at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and a UW acting associate professor of Medicine and Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
As a clinician and researcher, Dr. Hill’s priority is to ensure that patients receive the most up-to-date and evidence-based care for their infections. He strives to educate and support patients to formulate and carry out a treatment plan.
Dr. Hill has published over 130 peer-reviewed papers in leading medical journals and is an international expert in viral infections, vaccines and infectious complications of immunotherapies, such as CAR T-cell therapy. His work has been recognized with several awards, including the International Immunocompromised Society award for excellence in research to improve patient outcomes. Dr. Hill serves on numerous local, national and international committees and expert guideline panels, and he is frequently invited as a keynote lecturer or educator at events around the world.
Personal Interests
In his free time Dr. Hill enjoys hiking, rock climbing, mountaineering, backpacking, cycling, fly fishing, sailing and tennis.
