Jordan Cabrera is the Physical Therapy Clinical Specialist for the Comprehensive Outpatient Rehabilitation Program (CORP) at Harborview Medical Center. He is a Board Certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist and a Herdman Certified Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapist. Jordan specializes in physical rehabilitation of individuals with spinal cord injury, vestibular disorders, traumatic brain injury, stroke, and lower extremity amputation. He is also a practitioner in the seating clinic and performs seating evaluations for individuals needing complex seating.

Jordan earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Southern California in 2004 and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University in 2008. He started his career as a physical therapist at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City working in the outpatient PT department and specialized inpatient rehabilitation units for spinal cord injury and brain injury. After leaving the East Coast, he moved to California and worked at the San Francisco General Hospital in the acute care setting. He later moved back to his hometown of Seattle and joined the Harborview team in 2013. Jordan is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Academy of Spinal Cord Injury Professionals.

As a physical therapist, I truly enjoy working with patients to help them maximize their full potential and live healthy lives. I love the diverse population at Harborview and enjoy working with patients from many different cultures and backgrounds.

I enjoy running, traveling, and spending quality time with my family and friends.

Physical rehabilitation for individuals with spinal cord injury; traumatic brain injury; vestibular disorders; stroke.

Research Interests

My research interests involve physical rehabilitation for neurologic disorders. While at Mount Sinai, I was one of the published authors for the SCIRehab Project, which was a multi-center study looking at rehabilitation interventions and outcomes.
