Biography

Joon-Bom Kim, M.D., is a physician at the Eye Institute and Ophthalmology Clinic at Harborview and a UW senior fellow of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Kim was born in Illinois and grew up in Seoul, South Korea and central Illinois. He discovered his interest in ophthalmology through vision and glaucoma screening events and clinical research in uveitis. He enjoys creating active partnerships with his patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Kim earned his M.D. at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Personal Interests

In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and brewing coffee.
