About John S Bramhall
John Bramhall, M.D., Ph.D., is a board certified anesthesiologist and associate medical director of Harborview. He is also a UW associate professor of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Bramhall feels that Harborview Medical Center is a superbly equipped and staffed facility. Many of his patients arrive after being injured far away. He feels it is his task as a physician to ensure they receive the safest, most effective and most compassionate care he can provide.
Dr. Bramhall earned his M.D. at UC San Diego. He is past president of the Washington State Society of Anesthesiologists and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Washington State Medical Association. Dr. Bramhall’s clinical and research interests include coordination of clinical care, systems integration, hospital safety and membrane structure and function and ion movement across lipid bilayers.
Personal Interests
In his free time Dr. Bramhall enjoys quiet and solitude while kayaking in local waters.
