About Joel Alan Gross
Joel Gross, M.D., M.S., is a board certified physician and director of Emergency and Trauma Radiology and the fellowship director at Harborview Medical Center. He is also a UW associate professor of Radiology.
Dr. Gross is honored to be able to care for patients needing care for traumatic and non-traumatic emergencies. His goals are to obtain the most appropriate imaging for patients, in a timely and optimal manner.
Dr. Gross earned his M.S. from UC San Diego and his M.D. from UC Davis. He is a fellow of the American Society of Emergency Radiology, where he continues to serve in multiple roles.
Dr. Gross’ clinical and research interests include optimal trauma imaging protocols, appropriate and radiation sensitive imaging, urologic trauma imaging and appropriate management of incidental findings.
Personal Interests
In his free time Dr. Gross enjoys travel, photography, technology and movies.
