About Joanne D. Stekler
Joanne Stekler, M.D., M.P.H., is a board certified physician at the Madison Clinic at Harborview and a UW associate professor of Medicine and Allergy and Infectious Diseases and an adjunct associate professor of Epidemiology and Global Health.
Dr. Stekler provides care for patients living with HIV. She strives to create active partnerships with her patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Dr. Stekler earned her M.D. at Duke and her M.P.H. at the UW. her research is focused on HIV prevention, including HIV testing, recognition of acute HIV infection, pre-exposure prophylaxis and clinical consequences of primary HIV infection.
