Jessie Kim-Deobald, M.D., is a board certified gastroenterologist at Northwest Hospital.

Dr. Kim-Deobald enjoys direct patient care and is actively involved in healthcare education in various areas, such as chronic hepatitis C, chronic hepatitis B, fatty liver, irritable bowel syndrome and obesity/nutritional related issues. She enjoys teaching and sharing current clinical information with her colleagues and patients by speaking in local, regional and national educational programs.

Dr. Kim-Deobald earned her M.D. at the UW. Her clinical and research interests include viral Hepatitis B and C; non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, autoimmune hepatitis, diverticulitis, irritable bowel syndrome, opiod-induced constipation, allergy of the esophagus, celiac sprue; GERD, adolescent gastroenterology and device development for treatment of diverticulosis.

In her free time Dr. Kim-Deobald enjoys classical music, being outdoors and cooking
