About Jeremy Sharib
Jeremy Sharib, MD is a surgical oncologist who provides specializes in the treatment of advanced gastrointestinal cancers, peritoneal diseases, and sarcoma. He is an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Department of Surgery, Section of Complex Abdominal Oncology at UW School of Medicine.
Dr. Sharib works with a multidisciplinary team of medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and radiologists to provide state of the art, individualized care to every patient. Given his specialization in advanced or metastatic cancers, Dr. Sharib strives to form a unique and lasting bond with each patient to help guide them through the treatment process with the goal to both treat their disease and improve their quality of life.
Dr. Sharib's clinical interests include treatment of gastrointestinal cancers including advanced/metastatic colon, rectal and gastric cancers, mucinous appendiceal neoplasms, gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs), neuroendocrine tumors (NET), peritoneal mesothelioma, and sarcoma.
Personal Interests
In his free time, Dr. Sharib likes to run, bike, and play, but most of all, he enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest with his wife and two children.
