Jeremy Johnson Hess, M.D., M.P.H., is a board certified physician in the Emergency Department at Harborview Medical Center. He is also a UW associate professor of Emergency Medicine and Environmental and Occupational Health Science at the UW School of Public Health.

Dr. Hess is passionate about taking excellent care of patients who are critically ill and severely injured, particularly in the early stages of their illness. Along with this comes eagerness to coordinate patient care within the comprehensive network of services offered by UW Medicine.

Dr. Hess earned his M.D. and M.P.H. from Emory University. He is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and a member of the American Public Health Association and the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine. Dr. Hess received the President's GreenGov award for advancing recognition and preparedness for climate change health impacts.
