Jennifer Rietzler is a genetic counselor at the University of Washington Medical Center’s Maternal and Infant Care Clinic. She received her Master’s degree in Medical Genetics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health in 2016 and moved to the State of Washington shortly thereafter to begin providing care as a prenatal genetic counselor.
During her graduate training, Jennifer obtained a MCH LEND Certificate through participation in a leadership education program funded by the Maternal and Child Health Bureau which allowed her to gain experience in providing services and improving systems of care for individuals with developmental disabilities. She also holds a certificate in Consumer Health Advocacy through the Center for Patient Partnerships affiliated with the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Jennifer is an active diplomat of the American Board of Genetic Counselors, is a full member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors, and is licensed to practice genetic counseling in the State of Washington.
