Jennifer Gardner, M.D., is a board certified dermatologist at the Dermatology Clinic at UWMC Roosevelt and SCCA and a UW assistant professor of Medicine and Dermatology. She is also a collaborating member of the UW Center for One Health Research.
Dr. Gardner specializes in pigmented lesions, melanoma, skin cancer and skin problems associated with chemotherapy. She loves being a dermatologist. It brings her great joy to help patients with skin issues. She believes it is important to listen carefully to patients to best understand their goals for skin health.
Dr. Gardner earned her M.D. from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Dermatology Foundation and Seattle Dermatologic Society. Her research interest focuses on how animals and the shared environment affect the health of human skin.
In her free time Dr. Gardner enjoys running, yoga, drawing, painting, photography, wandering around museums—especially art museums—enjoying good food with good friends, and trying to keep up with her kids and terrier. She also enjoys figuring out new ways to work smarter, not harder.
