Biography

Jennifer Best, M.D., is a board certified physician at Harborview and a UW associate professor of General Internal Medicine. She is associate program director for Resident Professional Development and Well-Being for the UW Internal Medicine Residency Program.

As a hospital-based internist, Dr. Best is an expert in the acute care and safe discharge of medically complex adult inpatients. Her first priority is to listen and partner with you in developing a safe, effective and understandable care plan that takes your unique story and preferences into account.

Dr. Best earned her M.D. from Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago. She is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the Society of Hospital Medicine. She is the recipient of a number of teaching awards and is a deputy editor of the Journal of General Internal Medicine.

Personal Interests

In her free time Dr. Best enjoys family, photography, cooking, writing and music.
