Biography

Jenna Kanter, M.D., is a board certified neurologist at UWMC-Roosevelt and the Eastside Specialty Center and a UW assistant professor of Neurology.

Dr. Kanter provides care to patients with neurologic conditions and has a special interest in headache disorders. She strives to create active partnerships with her patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Kanter earned her M.D. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the Washington State Medical Association, the American Headache Society and the International Headache Society. Her clinical interests include headache disorders such as migraine and cluster headaches, and complementary and alternative approaches to treating neurologic symptoms. Her research interests include outcomes in headache management.

Beyond work, Dr. Kanter enjoys books, movies, theater, food, travel and the outdoors.
