Jenna R. Kanter, M.D., is a neurologist who provides care to patients with neurologic conditions. Dr. Kanter also has a special interest in headache disorders.
Dr. Kanter earned her M.D. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She completed her internship in internal medicine, residency in neurology and fellowship in headache medicine at the University of Washington, Seattle. She is board-certified in adult neurology.
Dr. Kanter’s clinical interests include headache disorders such as migraine and cluster headaches, and complementary and alternative approaches to treating neurologic symptoms. Her research interests include outcomes in headache management.
Dr. Kanter is a UW clinical assistant professor of neurology. She joined the faculty in 2014. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the Washington State Medical Association, the American Headache Society and the International Headache Society.
Dr. Kanter is interested in bioethical issues and changes in the healthcare system. Beyond work, she enjoys books, movies, theater, food, travel and the outdoors.
