Biography

Jared Klein, M.D., M.P.H., is a board certified physician at the Adult Medicine Clinic and medical director of the After Care Clinic at Harborview and a UW assistant professor of General Internal Medicine.

Dr. Klein enjoys working with patients to help them understand and improve their health. His role is to guide patients through the complexities of the healthcare system.

Dr. Klein earned his M.D. and M.P.H. at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine. His clinical and research interests include transitions of care, treatment of substance use disorders, management of chronic diseases and disease prevention.

Personal Interests

In his free time Dr. Klein enjoys jogging, fishing, hiking, clamming and spending time with family.
