Janet Hobbs, M.P.T., is a physical therapist at Harborview.
Hobbs has provided physical therapy in settings ranging from acute care to home health. She uses multiple approaches to improve patients' function and comfort, including exercise, manual therapy and splinting.
Hobbs earned her M.P.T. at the UW. Her clinical interests include foot and ankle issues, making patient education more effective, biomechanics, examination and selected interventions for foot disorders, evidence-based interventions for the lumbar spine and pelvis, the hip and pelvis in function and dysfunction, and the National Alliance on Mental Illness evidenced-based educational program, Family-to-Family.
