Biography

Jane Ballantyne, M.D., F.R.C.A., is a board certified anesthesiologist at UW Medical Center and a UW professor (retired) of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and Director of the UW Pain Fellowship.

Dr. Ballantyne strives to create active partnerships with her patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Ballantyne earned her M.D. from the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine, London.  She also has editorial roles in several leading journals and textbooks, and is a widely published author.
