Biography

Jamie Sue Olaf, D.N.P., A.R.N.P., is a board certified doctor of nursing practice nurse practitioner for the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at UW Medical Center.

Dr. Olaf specializes in the surgical and critical care management of patients with cardiac and thoracic diseases, in addition to mechanical circulatory support device management. She strives to create active partnerships with her patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Olaf earned her D.N.P. from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. She holds certification as a Critical Care Registered Nurse for adults through the AACN.

Personal Interests

Olaf enjoys educating patients and their support systems during the stressful times of critical illness, to help create a positive and informative healing environment. Educating and mentoring nursing students is another passion she carries.
