Thorough skin cancer screen as well as a rash I was concerned about. Having your entire naked body closely examined is not easy but Dr. Vary was wonderful and explained everything he was seeing and what it means.He explained my rash was likely how my body was reacting to another issue entirely. He assured me it's very easily treatable and suggested "affordable and covered by my insurance" medications. He ordered it from my pharmacy and all the notes were added to the "my chart"app which I love.

Dr. Vary is excellent. He listens, tells me what he's going to do, and follows up afterwards with clear explanations.

Dr. Vary had clearly taken the time to learn something about me and my dermatological history. He was quite responsive to my questions and concerns, and arranged for a consultation with another provider. He showed detailed knowledge of the risks and benefits of a possible treatment for a second issue, and helped me make an informed decision. If possible, I would have rated my experience as "excellent", not just "very good"!

Dr J Vary is knowledgeable, explains exam process, diagnoses, and potential treatments very well. He also takes time, but not too much, for pleasant chit chat. Always pauses to give me time to process info and ask questions. Easily 5/5 stars.

Dr. J Vary was the ideal combination of being personable and being a good practitioner which is exactly what each patient needs in a healthcare provider. That is not frequently encountered these days especially due to the current model of healthcare delivery, but he delivered it with apparent ease. It was a breath of fresh air.

After over 20 years of skin issues, the U.W. Dermatology clinic is my shelter in the storm. Dr. Vary is a huge part of this. His skill and knowledge are exceptional.
