About James E. Raisis
James Raisis, M.D., is a neurosurgeon at Northwest Hospital & Medical Center.

Dr. Raisis earned his M.D. at the University of Colorado. He is board-certified in Neurological Surgery. Dr. Raisis has expertise in treatment of benign and malignant tumors involving the brain and spinal cord, particularly tumors involving the back portion of the brain. He also has expertise in neuro-oncology, particularly treatment of malignant tumors involving the brain and spinal cord; and in spinal disorders. His clinical interests include comprehensive treatment of benign and malignant brain and spinal cord tumors and management of spinal disorders. His research interests include close follow-up in the treatment of intracranial and spinal disorders.

Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Raisis enjoys spending time with his family, as well as golfing, bee keeping, gardening, theater, opera and travel.
