James Pautz, M.D., is a board certified cardiologist the UW Cardiology Clinics at Edmonds and Mill Creek and Northwest Hospital.
Dr. Pautz specializes in general cardiology, coronary artery disease, heart valve dysfunction and heart arrhythmia. He strives to create active partnerships with his patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Dr. Pautz earned his M.D. from the University of Missouri, Columbia. He is an expert in cardiac catheterization, echocardiography, pacemaker placement and interrogation. His clinical interests include internal medicine, cardiac catheterization, echocardiography and pacemaker placement. His research interests include improving care of heart attack patients by streamlining the time to treatment, which reduces damage to the heart by minimizing and eliminating delays from initial heart attack symptoms to reestablishing blood flow in the heart.
In his spare time, Dr. Pautz enjoys woodworking, hiking and being outdoors.
