Jacob Stein, M.D., M.P.H., is a resident physician at UW Medical Center and a UW instructor of Medicine.
Dr. Stein is active in patient care, resident education, and research. Through his role as an inpatient provider, he works to build a collaborative relationship with patients, foster good understanding of medical conditions and treatments and always uses patient values and preferences to come to the best treatment plan.
Dr. Stein earned his M.D. at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His research interests include health care disparities, patient engagement, quality improvement and cancer care.
In his free time Dr. Stein enjoys playing music, hiking, reading, photography and traveling.
