About Jacob Bloom
In addition to general ENT, Jacob Bloom, MD specializes in nasal, sinus and sleep apnea surgery, as well as surgical management of middle ear, thyroid and salivary gland diseases.
Dr. Bloom believes in a collaborative approach to patient care, providing patients with a multitude of treatment options and helping them come to an informed decision regarding their healthcare. He attempts to work with patients to create an individualized treatment plan for each patient to achieve their healthcare goals.
Dr. Bloom’s clinical interests include chronic salivary infections and sialadenitis, chronic ear disease, nasal and sinus surgery, medical management of environmental allergies, surgical treatment of sleep apnea and surgical management of thyroid and salivary gland tumors. He has a research interest in prevention of HPV-mediated head and neck tumors. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Washington.
Personal Interests
Outside of his practice, Dr. Bloom enjoys writing, performing music, hiking, and having slow cooked barbecue.
