Ivan Molton, Ph.D., is a psychologist at the Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic at Harborview and a UW associate professor of Psychology and Rehabilitation Medicine.
Dr. Molton works primarily with individuals recovering from amputation, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury and neurological disease. He believes most of the work in recovery lies with the patient, and that his role is to help patients identify their personal strengths and barriers in performing their own care.
Dr. Molton earned his Ph.D. at the University of Miami. His research interests include chronic pain, clinical geropsychology and psychoneuroimmunology.
