Ivan Robert Molton, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist and rehabilitation psychologist. Dr. Molton works primarily with individuals recovering from amputation, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury and neurological disease. He also specializes in chronic pain management.
Dr. Molton's research interests include chronic pain, clinical geropsychology and psychoneuroimmunology.
Dr. Molton is an assistant professor with the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Washington, Seattle. He believes most of the work in recovery lies with the patient, and that his role is to help patients identify their personal strengths and barriers in performing their own care.
