About Julia Irina Metzner
Julia Metzner, M.D., is an anesthesiologist at UW Medicine and a UW associate professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and adjunct associate professor of Neurological Surgery.
Dr. Metzner believes it is not enough to be a good physician. First of all you have to be a human!
Dr. Metzner earned her M.D. at Timisoara Medical School in Romania. Her clinical and research interests include thoracic anesthesia, neuroanesthesia and research in thermoregulation.
Personal Interests
In her free time Dr. Metzner enjoys tourism, music (jazz, classical, opera), swimming and spending time with her three daughters.
