About Julia Irina Metzner

Julia Metzner, M.D., is an anesthesiologist at UW Medicine and a UW associate professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and adjunct associate professor of Neurological Surgery.

Dr. Metzner believes it is not enough to be a good physician. First of all you have to be a human!

Dr. Metzner earned her M.D. at Timisoara Medical School in Romania. Her clinical and research interests include thoracic anesthesia, neuroanesthesia and research in thermoregulation.
