Hilary Zetlen, M.D., M.P.H., is a resident physician at the General Internal Medicine clinic at the University of Washington Medical Center Roosevelt location.
Dr. Zetlen, who earned her degree at the UW, believes that health care is a human right and that community health and individual health are interconnected. Her goal is to work together with patients to improve their health and wellness in a way that respects and integrates their values, culture and community.
Dr. Zetlen is a Seattle native interested in hospital medicine, public health and health policy.
She has spent time living and working on public health projects in Latin America and East Africa. She looks forward to continuing her international health work at the UW.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Zetlen spends most of her time trail running, biking, skiing, mountaineering, cooking and playing violin.
