About Heemun Kwok
Heemun Kwok, M.D., M.S., is a board certified physician in the Emergency Department at Harborview Medical Center and a UW assistant professor of Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Kwok enjoys working with patients of all ages and from all facets of society. He is grateful to have the opportunity to treat patients with a wide breadth of medical conditions.
Dr. Kwok earned his M.D. from UC San Francisco. He completed a residency in emergency medicine at the University of New Mexico and a clinical research fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He joined the UW faculty in 2011. He is a member of the Society of Academic Emergency Medicine. He also conducts research on optimal strategies for the treatment of cardiac arrest.
Personal Interests
In his free time Dr. Kwok enjoys mountaineering, backcountry skiing and amateur soccer coaching.
