BiographyHeather Tick, M.A., M.D., is the first holder of the Gunn-Loke Endowed Professorship of Integrative Pain Medicine at the University of Washington. She has been an integrative pain practitioner for over 20 years. She is a UW clinical associate professor in both the Departments of Family Medicine, and Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
Dr. Tick's clinical interests include integrative pain medicine. She approaches each patient as a unique individual whose optimal health depends on many factors in his or her lifestyle, genetics and life experience. It is her job to help patients to be as healthy as possible and to search for barriers to healing. She focuses on health creation rather than disease management.
Personal InterestsDr. Tick enjoys reading, hiking and pottery.
