About Heather M Ranney
Heather Ranney, CNM, WHNP, is a certified nurse midwife, Chief of Midwifery at UW Medical Center - Montlake, and a teaching associate in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Heather provides full-scope care for women across their lifetime, from the teen and reproductive years and on through menopause, with a special focus on the care of women before, during and after childbirth. She strongly believes in empowering women in their healthcare: everyday health, mental health, reproductive choices, pregnancy, labor, postpartum and motherhood. Education, guidance and advocacy are her passions.
Heather enjoys her family, animals and chickens! She loves the PNW and all it’s beauty. Her hobbies include knitting, gardening and yoga.
