Heather Ranney, CNM, WHNP, is a certified nurse midwife, Chief of Midwifery at UW Medical Center - Montlake, and a teaching associate in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Heather provides full-scope care for women across their lifetime, from the teen and reproductive years and on through menopause, with a special focus on the care of women before, during and after childbirth. She strongly believes in empowering women in their healthcare: everyday health, mental health, reproductive choices, pregnancy, labor, postpartum and motherhood. Education, guidance and advocacy are her passions.
