Biography

H. Nina Kim, M.D., M.Sc., is a board certified physician at the Madison Clinic and the Hepatitis and Liver Clinic at Harborview and a UW assistant professor of Medicine.

Dr. Kim strives to create active partnerships with her patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Kim earned her M.D. at UC San Francisco and her M.Sc. at the UW. She is board certified in both Infectious Diseases and General Internal Medicine. She serves as a co-editor of Hepatitis Webstudy, a UW web-based tutorial for viral hepatitis, and directs a graduate-level course entitled, "Clinical Management of HIV," which is offered to both local and international students.Her clinical and research interests include chronic hepatitis B and C, hepatitis B immunization and what happens when individuals are infected with both hepatitis B and HIV.
