Gwenn Garden, M.D., Ph.D., is a board certified neurologist at UW Medical Center and a UW professor of Neurology and an adjunct professor of Pathology.

Dr. Garden strives to create active partnerships with her patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Garden earned her M.D. and Ph.D. at the UW. Her clinical interests include neuroinflammation, neurodegeneration and dementia. Her research involves the molecular pathogenesis of neurodegenerative disorders and examining the basic cellular biology of inflammation in the central nervous system. She hopes to shed light on important cellular interactions that occur with injury, trauma, seizures and neurodegenerative diseases.

Personal Interests

When away from medicine, Dr. Garden enjoys biking, hiking, gourmet vegetarian cooking, furniture refinishing and home renovating.
