Biography

Greta V. Bernier, M.D., is a board-certified surgeon at Eastside Specialty Center in Bellevue and Seattle Cancer Care Alliance Outpatient Clinic. She is also a UW assistant professor of Surgery. She specializes in colorectal diseases, colorectal surgery, minimally invasive approaches and robotic surgery.

Dr. Bernier believes in creating active partnerships with her patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Bernier earned her M.D. at the UW. She is a member of the American College of Surgeons and American Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons.

Dr. Bernier's clinical interests include enhanced recovery pathways for post-operative care, advancement of minimally invasive and robotic surgery and improvement of resident and trainee education. Her research interests include cancer genetics and utilization and access to laparoscopic colorectal surgery.

Personal Interests

Dr. Bernier and her family love living in the Pacific Northwest, where they can enjoy camping, skiing, swimming and spending time with family and friends.
