Gordana Juric-Sekhar, M.D., Ph.D., is a board certified pathologist at UW Medical Center and a UW acting instructor of Pathology and Neurological Surgery.

Dr. Juric-Sekhar believes making the right diagnosis is an important step in the treatment of patients with various disorders. She strives to make the best neuropathological diagnosis of patients using the most modern tools available.

Dr. Juric-Sekhar earned her M.D. and Ph.D. at the University of Zagreb in Croatia and is board certified but the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic Pathology and Neuropathology. She is a fellow of the College of American Pathologists. Her clinical practice includes various tumors of the central nervous system. Her research efforts focus on creating new techniques that may provide complementary information to that of conventional histopathology.

Personal Interests

In her free time Dr. Juric-Sekhar enjoys spending time with family, particularly with her husband and two children. She enjoys traveling, swimming, playing tennis, biking and ice skating.
