About George E. Laramore
George Laramore, M.D., Ph.D., is a board certified radiation oncologist at UW Medical Center and SCCA, principal investigator for the UW Radiation Therapy Oncology Group, founding medical director of the SCCA ProCure Proton Radiotherapy Center and a UW professor of Radiation Oncology and Neurological Surgery.
Dr. Laramore specializes in the treatment of head and neck cancer, salivary gland tumors, sarcomas and prostate cancer. He enjoys using the latest technological innovations to carry out the optimal treatment for each patient.
Dr. Laramore earned his M.D. at the University of Miami. He is board certified in both Radiation Oncology and Therapeutic Radiology. His research interests lie in the interface between physics and medicine. Areas of particular interest include the use of neutrons and charged particles in the treatment of cancer and developing mathematical models to predict outcomes.
Personal Interests
In his free time Dr. Laramore enjoys fishing, scuba diving, swimming, running, skiing and traveling.
