George Drugas, M.D., M.B.A., is a pediatric surgeon and director of Surgical Quality Improvement at Seattle Children's Hospital and a UW associate professor of Surgery.

Dr. Drugas' practice philosophy is to contribute to pediatric health and well-being by providing the best care to every patient through integrated clinical practice, education and research.

Dr. Drugas earned his M.D. from Northwestern University in St. Louis. He is board certified in both Pediatric Surgery and General Surgery. His clinical interests include surgical oncology and neonatal surgery. His research interests include surgical outcomes, operational process improvement and patient safety.

Personal Interests

Dr. Drugas enjoys photography, bicycling, kayaking, snorkeling and SCUBA diving.
