I love Dr. May. I chose to come to Harborview specifically [...] because he's practicing here now.
Dr May is sui generis. He listens exceedingly well and then converts my comments and described maladies into actionable understanding and insight.
Provider listened to all of my concerns and answered all of my questions. He was very understanding and patient. I really felt understood and heard.

About Eugene Frank May
Eugene May, MD, is a board-certified neurologist and fellowship-trained neuro-ophthalmologist. Dr. May takes detailed histories from his patients, reviews their prior medical records and studies, and conducts a detailed physical exam in order to determine the steps needed to diagnose and treat new patients. He follows established patients closely until their medical conditions stabilize.
Dr. May sees adults and children with the entire spectrum of neuro-ophthalmologic disorders. He has a special interest in the neuro-ophthalmologic manifestations of multiple sclerosis and related disorders. He also has a special interest in nystagmus and other eye movement disorders.
Dr. May is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and Neurology.
Dr. May enjoys spending time with his wife and grown children, hiking around the world, and taking care of his shiba inu, Hachiko.
