Erin Johnson, D.P.T., is supervisor of the UW Sports Medicine Physical Therapy Clinic.
Dr. Johnson has a strong orthopedic focus, with special interest in running, olympic lifting, and soccer. Her passion lies with educating and empowering patients to learn more about their body, to take control over their pain or injury, and to return to full function.
Dr. Johnson earned her D.P.T. at the University of Maryland. In 2010, Erin was commissioned as a captain in the U.S. Army and served for more than six years in clinic director positions. She was named Army Provider of the Year in 2015, and awarded the Hero Award by the Center for Initial Military Training in 2016. Her Active Duty tour ended in 2017 and she continues to serve in the US Army Reserve.
Erin is certified in Level 1 and 2 Crossfit, Level 1 Functional Dry Needling and is an instructor for Master Fitness Trainers in the military.
