Erikka Allhusen, MD, is a pediatrician at the University of Washington Medical Center and Seattle Children’s Hospital. She also works at the UWMC Newborn Nursery and NICU, the Harborview Medical Center PICU and Pediatric Inpatient service, and in all areas of Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Allhusen, who earned her MD at the University of Washington, believes compassionate care of the whole person provides the opportunity for children to meet their full potential.
Dr. Allhusen feels that to effectively support a child’s growth and development, it is important to use a thoughtful team-based approach that includes patients and their families and caregivers in making healthy decisions from birth through young adulthood.
Dr. Allhusen is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and is PALS and NRP certified. Her clinical interests include effective preventative medicine and general pediatric care.
Dr. Allhusen grew up in western Washington and loves the Pacific Northwest. She enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking, cooking or trying new restaurants, reading and spending time with her husband and pets.
