Eric Turner, M.D., is a board-certified psychiatrist at the UW Advancing Integrated Mental Health Solutions Center, a principal investigator at Seattle Children’s Research Institute’s Center for Integrative Brain Research and a UW professor of Neurosciences and Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and an adjunct professor of Biological Structure.
Dr. Turner strives to create active partnerships with his patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Dr. Turner earned his M.D. and Ph.D. at UW. His clinical interests include adult psychiatry, collaborative care and telemedicine. His research interests include developmental neurobiology, gene regulation, transgenic mouse models, mouse genetics, optogenetics and subcortical pathways of affective state regulation.
Dr. Turner loves exploring the rapidly changing city of Seattle on foot.
