BiographyEmily Waner, M.D., M.P.H., is a board certified physician at Northwest Hospital.
Dr. Waner works to serve the acute needs of patients requiring hospitalization for a broad range of internal medicine conditions. She takes great pride in having the opportunity to help and support patients and families navigate acute illness and new diagnoses.
Dr. Waner earned her M.D. at Duke and her M.P.H. from the University of North Carolina. During her residency at the UW, her peers and instructors awarded her the Evans Award, which honors trainees who most clearly reflect the qualities of warmth, understanding and concern for the needs of others. Her clinical and research interests include health equity, patient advocacy and health systems improvement.
Personal InterestsDr. Waner's personal interests include spending time with her family, traveling, running, hiking, yoga and cooking.
