Dr. Fay's knowledge of clinical research as well as sharing of anecdotal experience helped reassure me about concerns over starting a medication during pregnancy that might impact the growth of my baby. She was also kind and compassionate and took the time to make sure all my questions were answered.

Dr. Fay was kind, empathetic, and answered all of our questions and concerns. We didn't feel rushed and had such a positive experience with the care we received.

About Emily E. Fay

Emily Fay, MD is a maternal-fetal medicine specialist who cares for pregnant people and families with high-risk pregnancies. She has a special interest in caring for people with transplant, autoimmune disease, and diabetes in pregnancy. She enjoys working with families during such a special time in a their lives. She values working together with patients to achieve a common goal of a healthy pregnancy and postpartum. She also greatly enjoys medical education including teaching students, residents, and fellows. She is also an Associate Professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine.

Outside of work Dr. Fay enjoys hiking, cooking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
