Biography

Eliza L. Sutton, M.D. is an associate professor of medicine and the medical director of the UW Women's Health Care Center. She practices general internal medicine.

Dr. Sutton earned a bachelor's degree with honors from the California Institute of Technology and a master's degree from Harvard University, both in chemistry. She received an M.D. from Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Sutton's clinical interests include general internal medicine (primary care for adults), women's health and sleep disorders in primary care. 

Dr. Sutton  likes to consider both the details and the big picture as she helps patients address their medical conditions and navigate their path through health care.

She is board certified in internal medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians. She has been listed as a "Top Doctor" in 2012 and 2013.

Dr. Sutton enjoys philosophy, science fiction, volunteer work and spending time with her family.
