About Eleanor Y. Chen
Eleanor Chen, M.D., Ph.D., is a board certified Pathologist at UW Medical Center and a UW assistant professor of Pathology.
Dr. Chen is committed to translate her research findings in sarcomas into new therapeutic options to improve survival of patients with advanced or relapsed disease.
Dr. Chen earned her M.D. and Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. Her clinical and research interests include cancer biology, sarcoma biology, animal models of rhabdomyosarcoma and stem cell biology. She also does basic science and translational research in pediatric rhabdomyosarcoma.
Personal Interests
In her free time Dr. Chen enjoys biking, hiking, traveling, photography and art.
