Biography

Doug Hale, D.P.M., F.A.C.F.A.S., is a board certified podiatrist at UW Medical Center.

Dr. Hale is a specialist in biomechanics/orthotics and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and is highly qualified to treat all foot and ankle disorders. As an honors engineering graduate from Tulane University, New Orleans, he has a unique capability to treat patients either biomechanically or surgically, and believes in doing what is best for each patient’s unique medical condition.

Dr. Hale earned his D.P.M. with honors from the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, North Chicago. He is quadruple board certified in Foot Surgery, Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery, Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine. His resident training program is rated among the top five in the US and accepts only two residents yearly. He lectures to physicians and students regionally on a variety of topics and has received numerous honors.
