Dorothy J. Pavlin, M.D., is a anesthesiologist at UW Medical Center and a UW professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
Dr. Pavlin strives to optimize anesthesia delivery and recovery after ambulatory surgery.
Dr. Pavlin earned her M.D. at the University of Manitoba. Her clinical and research interests include recovery and discharge after ambulatory surgery, prediction of postoperative pain and responses to analgesic therapies, postoperative bladder function and urinary retention and regional anesthesia and ultrasound-guided nerve blocks.
In her free time Dr. Pavlin enjoys skiing, tennis, hiking, tandem biking, dancing and gardening.
