Dimitri Christakis, M.D., is a board certified pediatrician at Seattle Children’s and the UW Nursery, director of the Center for Child Health, Behavior and Development at Seattle Children's Research Institute, the UW’s George Adkins Endowed Professor of Pediatrics and a UW professor of Pediatrics and an adjunct professor of Health Services and Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.

Dr. Christaki’s research focuses on optimizing children's cognitive, social and emotional development during their first five years.

 Dr. Christaki earned his M.D. at the University of Pennsylvania.
